The Vicar Visits DBTC Mandaluyong - Welcome Program

 

November 23, 2023—The Welcome Program for Don Martoglio at Don Bosco Mandaluyong was an encounter with the Salesian Family around a table of snacks and stories. 


The program began with an Opening Prayer followed by an AVP of the Bosconians who were having asynchronous classes online at home. Also featured in the video are DBYC Oratorians, now Lay Mission Partners of DBTC Mandaluyong.


Afterward, Don Martoglio gave his short talk. He spoke from the heart in Italian. Fr Nesty translated it for the EPC.



To get to know the EPC of Don Bosco Mandaluyong, some Bosconians and Lay Mission partners shared their experiences, their journey in living their life with the mission together with St. John
Bosco. To get to know Don Martoglio they asked him some questions on behalf of the EPC.






Fr. Demetrio Carmona, SDB gave the closing remarks.

The TVET Bosconians animated the guests with a group dance number. Bro. Anthony Josef Rodriguez, SDB led the signing of the community song, Live the Dream.




Fr. Marc Will Lim, SDB, and Fr. Demetrio Carmona, SDB presented Don Martoglio with some keepsakes. These items will be a reminder of this meaningful encounter: a DB Mandaluyong laptop bag, a caricature of DB and Don Martoglio, his personal DBTC ID, and a Barong Tagalog.

The Vicar's Visit to DBA Bacolor

Stefano Martoglio, SDB, Vicar General of the Rector Major, started his fraternal visit at Don Bosco Academy-Bacolor (DBA) on the morning of November 22, 2023. Fr. Martoglio, Fr. Gerardo Martin, SDB, and Fr. Joel Camaya, SDB, arrived at the school premises around 7:00 AM. Despite the transport strike in Pampanga, members of the DBA community, led by the Rector, Fr. Renato de Guzman, SDB, and School Director Bro. Carmelo Martinez, SDB, lined the campus gates to welcome the distinguished guests. Fr. Martoglio was toured around the school campus as Fr.
